Sales Team Support

Although it may seem as if all our efforts are focused on prospecting, Trufield Enterprises provides a variety of consulting services and skill based training programs that help improve the productivity of sales professionals and managers.

One of the most important skills a manager or sales manager needs to have is the ability to develop their direct reports. Too often a sales manager, for example, is thought to be the best sales professional. That is not the role of a sales manager, their primary role is to improve sales and the sales process within their organization.

We spend a lot of time showing all variety of managers the skills they need for developing their direct reports. This may be the single most important focus of management for the future.

Several of the programs and services listed below address these skill bases.

When we work with your company, we customize our work to your sales professionals, products, markets, and customers. As a result, the descriptions below will give you a very simple overview of what we do.

E-mail Bill@BlitzCall.com or call (800-253-1214) to let us know your specific needs and to get the details of how we can work together. We will respond as you wish, by e-mail or phone.

We will be glad to send you detailed overviews of our training programs mentioned below.

Sales Management and Management/Leadership Training and Development

Bill works with your sales managers to improve their abilities to develop your sales team. Most sales managers are never taught how to actually manage sales and sales professionals, so they are notoriously inefficient which can have a dramatically negative effect on the performance of your field sales staff.

We also conduct the program Results Producing Management® - RPM

The objective of RPM is to teach managers 11 strategies (skills) which will make them the best possible developers of their direct reports. The advantage to the manager and the company is that their managers learn to develop everyone to 100% of their potential. The benefits to both are higher levels of performance, higher profits, expansion and more efficient use of resources, and reduced turnover.

The RPM program is a two-day management/sales management development workshop which utilizes a variety of experiential learning techniques, including role-plays, case studies, instrumentation and other customized structured experiences. This workshop is content rich and very participative.

RPM was designed around sales management. This is an excellent basis because sales provides managers with some extreme examples of problems and opportunities faced by all managers. The Models and Skills learned in RPM are applicable to every manager with direct reports.

The 2% Solution

Imagine what would happen if everyone in your organization improved their performance by just 2%. We feel the easiest way to do this is to improve Leadership skills at every level within the organization.

Most companies blur the lines between Management and Leadership, they train their managers to manage and simply expect them to Lead when required, then are surprised and disappointed when they can't.

The 2% Solution is a one or two day skill based workshop designed to teach and develop Leadership skills. Leadership is one of the most frequently needed - but least taught skills!

Best Practices for Personal Business Conduct ™

Manners, Courtesy, and Etiquette Training. We were asked to develop this program for a Fortune 100 company because they found that Personal Business Etiquette is critical for their sales teams.

Good manners many not be listed in your job description, but they certainly play a crucial part in your career. The ability to handle yourself properly today can even outweigh your technical skills.

Why is etiquette so important? Because people judge you and your company by what they see, and what they believe to be true. Webster's Dictionary defines etiquette as "the forms, manners, and ceremonies established by convention as acceptable or required in social relations, in a profession, or in official life." Business etiquette, then, is the manner in which professionals, no matter what their job title or type of business, conduct themselves around the world.

Oral Presentation Skills™ OPS - Public Speaking

One of the most critical skills for any field sales professional is the ability to stand in front of an audience and present a product or service, even if that audience is only one or two people.

Public Speaking is a fabulous forum for marketing your company, products, and services but is seldom used since most people don't know how.

OPS is a Skill-Based Training Workshop, which means, there is a very high level of participant activity. Everyone in the workshop will present their Oral Presentation five (5) times. All presentations, except the final one, are given and critiqued in small group sessions then processed. The final presentation is given to the entire group and videotaped. It is then reviewed and critiqued in a final breakout session.

The final activity gives the participants a thorough understanding of all the technologies covered in the workshop, which makes implementation of the material much easier.

The OPS Workshop breaks down the basic components of a Presentation into Content, Vocal, and Physical aspects of speaking then shows how to build each component and merge them together to make an effective, dynamic Oral Presentation. This Workshop is two (2) days in length.
